Ed Adams Unveils New Hope’s “Angel
of Hope”
Critically acclaimed painter and sculptor Edward M. Adams of
Lambertville, NJ unveiled his new “The Angel of Hope” sculpture/fountain
at the grand opening of Occasions special event facility at Union
Square in New Hope, PA Keynote speaker Congressman Jim Greenwood
and over 100 local dignitaries attended the opening ceremony.
“The Angel of Hope reminds us that without hope we live
in darkness -- a world of no possibilities,” Adams said. “With
hope, all that we imagine becomes real. As water flows from the
Angel, use her as a source to renew a commitment that makes certain
the best is yet to come. Look at the Angel of Hope and be touched
by her spirit.”
Adams created the Angel of Hope sculpture/fountain to show appreciation
of life and all of the gifts life brings, making hope strong and
vital in our hearts as individuals, a community, and a nation sharing
a singular world. A 12-inch bronze limited edition reproduction
of the Angel of Hope sculpture is available through the E.M. Adams
Gallery.
Commissioned by the George E. Michael Family, this sculpture
is installed at “Occasions,” the special event space
located in Union Square in New Hope, PA. Occasions is adjacent
to the Michener Museum and across from the E.M. Adams Gallery.
The plaque near the sculpture reads, “Despite Uncertainty,
Hope endures. The Angel of Hope opens her wings and stands timeless
in the promise…the best is yet to come.” The sculpture
is currently open to the public.
Other sculptures created by Adams demonstrate his ability to interpret
human experience into two or three dimensional works of art. Adams
was commissioned to create a bust of Schindler for Steven Spielberg
to thank him for making the movie, Schindler’s List.
Adams was also commissioned to create a thirteen foot bronze sculpture
entitled, Courage and Compassion. This monumental
sculpture honors Raoul Wallenberg andis located in a public
park in Parsippany, NJ.
The E.M. Adams Gallery continuously exhibits the colorful and
unique paintings and sculpture of Ed Adams. The gallery is located
