three dimensions

I have been fortunate to design and build a number of bronze sculptures that enabled my ART TO Express  human EXPERIENCE in three dimensionS.

HERE IS A DESCRIPTION OF A few of these COMMISSIONS:

1. *Oscar Schindler:
   

A Bronze bust (edition of 4) of Oscar sChindler was commissioned by two holocaust survivors  saved by Schindler.  Steven Spielberg was presented one of the sculptures at an event held at the Waldorf Astoria in New York city.  The other three pieces are in the corporate headquarters of the men saved by schindler, hebrew university in israel, and the Holocaust studies center at kean university in new jersey.

*COURAGE AND COMPASSION:

THIS 13’ BRONZE SCULPTURE STANDS IN A PUBLIC PARK IN PARSIPPANY, NJ.  THIS SCULPTURE HONORS THE DEEDS OF RAOUL WALLENBERG, A HEROIC MAN WHO SAVED OVER 100,000 JEWS FROM CERTAIN DEATH IN BUDAPEST, HUNGRY.  WALLENBERG IS ONE OF TWO HONORARY CITIZENS OF THE USA....THE OTHER IS WINSTON CHURCHILL.

*PRAYER FEATHER

COMMISSIONED BY THE HEMOPHILIA ASSOCIATION OF NEW JERSEY, THIS SCULPTURE REFLECTS THE PAIN AND HOPE OF AN INNOCENT POPULATION OF PEOPLE VICTIMIZED BY RECEIVING  BLOOD TRANSFUSION PRODUCTS CONTAMINATED WITH THE HIV OR AIDS VIRUS.  THIS 6’ STYLIZED BRONZE FEATHER IS SITED IN FRONT OF THE ROBERT WOOD JOHNSON HOSPITAL IN NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ.

*ANGEL OF HOPE

STANDING ATOP A FOUNTAIN, THE ANGEL OF HOPE REMINDS US TO BELIEVE THE BEST IS YET TO COME.
